#2. CORPORATE PROFILE SAMPLE OUTLINE

****For your help, here is a video of the Corporate Profile I worked on with the Open Campus of FSCJ.  Thanks to the media staff, they did a great job with this video.  You will see there is a full video.  And, it breaks the speech into the three parts: Introduction, Body and Conclusion.

#5. GROUP SPEECH GUIDELINES - ALL SPEECH CLASSES
 
Download the guidelines for you and your group members so you all understand the directions, and point structure, for this speech.  In addition, the topics are listed here, so choose one of the topics and be sure your groups choose a FOR or AGAINST stance in which to defend.  Everyone must agree.  If there is a topic your group is interested in, and it is not on the list, please let me know and if it falls within the guidlines, you may choose away from the list.

 #6. MONROE'S MOTIVATED SEQUENCE
 
Download and print this handout that explains the sequence used in persuasive speaking.  This will help guide you to ensure that you are following the proper steps when creating your persuasive message.  There is still an element of informative speaking, but remember in this type of speech we are attempting to change audience's atitudes, values, beliefs and behaviors, therefore we need to follow this sequence to better persuade.

#9. Nonverbal Comm SPC 2330 - Nonverbal Assessment & Key
 
Click on the links below to download and print your assessment exercise and key.  First, complete the NVC Assessment to determine your "Body Language Quotient" (BQ) in order to gain some awareness of your body language.  Then count the number of A's, B's and C's you have.  Then, review the key and see what your BQ is and record it on the assessment sheet.  Follow the directions and submit the assessment on the due date.

#11 Nonverbal Communication SPC 2330 Final Project Presentation

Click below and download the guidelines for the final project presentations. The most important thing to do is to FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. Make this interesting and fun for you...and, do not be nervous about the presentation part! Have fun with it!
